As travelers using public transport (train, bus), the convenient location of the hotel was crucial for us. Although very centrally located next to Kiel’s main train station, we enjoyed two pleasant and quiet nights—in extremely comfortable beds. At both check-in and before our departure (luggage storage), the staff was very friendly and helpful. Berlinder Hof offers a generous breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired. All in all, considering its location in Kiel, the value for money is excellent!

Breakfast was top-notch—everything you could want. I also appreciated being able to grab a hot drink in the breakfast room during the day. Very nice decor. The location is great, right next to the train station. The room facing the inner courtyard was a bit noisy with the window open, but very quiet with the window closed. Also nice that luggage can be stored after checking out.

The location right at Kiel Central Station is extremely convenient for downtown as well as for arriving and departing by train. The room was clean, spacious, and very well equipped. We had a very quiet and pleasant night! Both the breakfast and front desk staff were very courteous and friendly. Breakfast offered a wide selection. The surroundings around the station aren’t especially pretty, but you know that beforehand.
